Championing justice and equity in healthcare
About Me
I’m Mia Mutz, RN, BSN—a proud graduate of LSU School of Nursing and a Baton Rouge-based Registered Nurse. I’ve always been driven by a passion for healthcare justice, community advocacy, and entrepreneurship.
With experience reviewing detailed medical records from nearly every level of care—STAC, LTAC, skilled nursing, rehab, wound care, home health, and more—I bring a sharp eye for identifying deviations from the standard of care. My education and clinical experience, grounded in the Louisiana Nurse Practice Act and guided by the LSBN, shape everything I do as a Legal Nurse Consultant.
I also have a deep passion for Advanced Care Planning. My background in post-acute planning and placement has made me especially skilled at helping people prepare for future healthcare needs. I aim to be a trusted resource for both individuals and families who want to age with dignity and peace of mind.
At the heart of my work is a love for the nursing profession and a desire to build a thriving, informed community. Whether you're navigating a legal case or planning ahead for care, I’m here to help with clarity, compassion, and confidence.
